Bingo, Babies, and Blessings

This weekend we had our annual Christmas Bingo party! We always have it after Christmas, it just took us a little longer to get it up and running this year. Since it was so belated, we decided to integrate Valentine's in by marking our cards with conversation hearts. WAY too much fun :)

Everyone was able to show up except the Wilcox's and Stuehser's, and aunt Lori who was sick, we missed her but Lanna did a good job at keeping a card for her.

There were also LOTS of good prizes this year! Among them were snuggies, giant Toblerone bars, the rabid squirrel puppet (it's been around since the earlier bingos), outdated calenders, tofu beef jerky, cute lunch bags, head scratchers (or brain scramblers and dad calls them), and much more.

All in all, it was an awesome night! I think everyone had fun and it was really nice to get together as a family. For more pictures and overview of the night, visit Jamie's post here.

On Sunday the family got together again for Sarah's sweet baby, Eilly's blessing! She's such a beautiful baby girl and it was so neat to see her daddy bless her. Congratulations Sarah and Garrett! You two are going to make awesome parents!

We finished up the weekend with yet another family get together by eating way too much food and watching the super bowl (Go Packers! Or "Go Green Guys!" as Sarah would say).

After such a fun weekend I wish you all a happy Monday! Here's to the start of another week.

  1. I never knew I had a double chin when taking photos. This is embarrassing. Other than that those are GREAT pics!!!

  3. I love reading about this. I'd love more to have been there! Thanks for the pics and letting me see it. It's almost like we were there again! But no Elvis magnets?
